WELCOME TO OUR WONDERFUL WORLD OF COLORS

Good day again you my beautiful brides. I hope the last tutorial was helpful as well as fun. Well, this is a continuation from our previous session. Step 4 Enlist your favourite bloom. If Gardenias are your thing, there’s no reason why they shouldn’t make it into your décor scheme. Incorporate your predominant flower colour – either making it the dominant shade or using it as an accent – and it will all come together.
Step 5 Consult the season. Decorating is simple when Mother Nature is your guide, so let the natural colors of the season be your inspiration. NOTE: This doesn’t mean that you have to be stuck with prissy pastel decorations during spring or brown and orange during fall/autumn. Just make sure that your wedding color complements the blooms and foliage that are naturally available during that time of year. • Be wary of combinations that usually go with other celebrations, unless it's the right time of year. For example, red and green is associated with the holiday season. While that would be fine for a winter or holiday season wedding, it would be less suitable for a spring or summer wedding. • When thinking about seasonal colors, think of variations of shades and not just the commonly recognizable colors.
Step 6 Remember the bridesmaids' dresses. If you want your bridesmaids decked "head to toe" in your color, you’ll need to make sure it’s an appealing and flattering shade to wear. You may need to accept variations in the shades to keep each bridesmaid happy, especially if it's a color that one or more of them are not happy to wear.
Hmmmmm!!! I hope it was as educative. stay tuned next week for the last part. In the meantime, enjoy the moments of listing and un-listing, especially with playing with colors. Please feel free to send an email or give me a call if you have any questions or require assistance in choosing your wedding Theme/color.

How to Choose Your Wedding Colors

WELCOME TO OUR WONDERFUL WORLD OF COLORS!!! A lot of brides I have worked with have always had a lot of problems choosing their wedding color theme. So I have come up with a few essential tips every bride should know about themes. The first and most important tip to know is that the color scheme for your wedding has the power to set the vibe. Focusing on the color theme early on is important to ensure that everything else obtained for the wedding is well coordinated and suited to the wedding taking into account where you're getting married, and the formality or informality of your ceremony and reception. The complexity or simplicity of color schemes is another part of your decision and these will depend on your personal preferences, budget, and patience! Here are the top determining factors to selecting your hues.
Step 1 Use your favourite shade. You’ve been in love with all the shades of pink since the first grade; this is a good place to begin with - ‘’what you love’’. You can tastefully incorporate any color into your wedding decorations by selecting the right hue, and combining it with the right accents. • Which colors are you drawn to most? Is there one particular color or several? If there are several colors, are they compatible? • Check your wardrobe. Leaving aside the standard office black, what are the other colors that emerge the most? They are a good indicator of your general preferences. • Make a color inspiration or mood board. Get a piece of thick card and place images you like from magazines on the board, images that highlight the colors you're keen on. You can also use color paint charts to help you match the hues.
Step 2 Consider the setting. Look at the colors used in your venue’s carpeting, drapery and decorations. If the site has strong colors, you’ll need to select a color scheme that complements. If you already have your heart set on a certain theme, you may need to select a more neutrally decorated site but this needs to be sorted out very early on or you may miss out on a good location! However, keep an open mind about colors until you've chosen the venue, because the setting may well suggest the scheme for you. • If the colors of the venue are very strong and you have your heart set on that venue, consider predominantly white and/or cream for the color scheme as this will be both effective and matching. This will allow you to add a touch here and there of a favorite color without overdoing it, but these splashes of color will tone down any Spartan feel of the white theme. • For outdoor weddings, look for fresh and light colors that suggest the brilliance of outdoors.
Step 3 Be prepared to have two different/distinct color themes if your church or wedding building and reception venue are very different in tone. In general, it is probable that you will have more leeway to use colors with the reception than where the wedding ceremony itself is held. However, you can still carry the color theme in clothing and flowers from the place of marriage to the reception, even if you can't decorate the church, hall, or register office as much as you'd like.
See to soon for a continuation. In the meantime, i hope you enjoyed these tips as much i did.

CELEBRITY WEDDING 2014

Hello readers, its me again Joy Okosun. I hope my last article was as interesting as you all anticipated. Today, i would like us to talk about Celebrity Weddings of 2014, compare tastes of the different brides in their Decor choice, wedding dress choice or whatever else caught your attention. Below are some of the celebrity weddings i captured over the course of my research

CANDICE ACCOLA AND JOE KING On 20th Oct, 2014, Actress Candice Accola and The Fray guitarist Joe King tied the knot. The couple, who married on Saturday in New Orleans, have shared two black and white snapshots showing them kissing and dancing in front of their guests.

The 27 years old star rocked a Monique Lhullier wedding gown, while the groom, 34, looked dapper in a Tom Ford suit.

The Wedding ceremony was an intimate outdoor event with lighted chandeliers hanging from trees while the walkway and tables were adorned with cylinder vases and lighted candles.

JENNY MCCARTHY AND DONNIE WAHLBERG
The two love birds tied the knot in St. Charles, Illinois, outside Chicago on Aug. 31, 2014, with the help of Exceptional Events by Shuki Moran
in a romantic classic ceremony at the Hotel Baker, in front of 90 guests four months after getting engaged.  The beautiful bride celebrated in a draped custom corseted Di Santo gown for her special day while the groom Wahlberg looked smoldering in a black Reiss tuxedo.

The romantic red theme continued with roses spread throughout every table at the reception. Floral by Avant Gardenia bouquets were placed as centerpieces and were surrounded by candles and several pieces of silverware.

McCarthy and the Wahlburgers proprietor indulged their sweet tooth with a towering cake made by local bakery All Chocolate Kitchen. The dessert was decorated with both real and edible roses by Floral by Avant Gardenia and had alternating layers of vanilla, chocolate and red velvet.

KANDI BURRUSS AND TODD TUCKER When Kandi Burruss tied the knot with Todd Tucker earlier this month at Atlanta's Le Fais Do-Do event facility, the couple didn't hold back from throwing one of the most glamorous, over-the-top, amazing Coming to America-themed wedding.
The bride opted for a striking if a little
risque fit and flare gown featuring a nude-colored bodysuit underlay akin to that worn by a figure skater, covered in sparkling diamante, which kicked out into <a voluminous skirt and eye-watering train from mid-thigh that was a mixture of white and caramel ostrich feathers. Her husband looked dapper in his black dress pants and shoes, white tuxedo jacket featuring black lapels and pocket trim, a crisp white shirt and matching bow tie.

The ambiance was a white and gold themed decor with amazing chandeliers adorned with flowers and lights.
The cake was a white amazing 6-tier, drapes in touches of silver and gold

I hope it was a wonderful experience because i had so much fun viewing all these wonderful pictures.
Thank you.

TIME MANAGEMENT

Everyone, my name is Steven Anslem Ajayi, am a Resource Consultant, a writer and a life Coach. Today, we shall be looking, at a great phenomenon which is equal to all men irrespective of Age, Sex, Status, Size, Skin Color, Ethnicity, Nationality etc and that is “TIME”
Time as they say waits for no man, that is true but here is what I say; Time is man’s best friend, it only leaves when not properly managed.

Managing one’s time properly plays a very important role in every sphere of one’s life, ranging from your personal life, profession and business growth. These simple but very important practices include:
v  Effective planning
v  Setting realistic goals and objective
v  Setting deadline
v  Prioritizing activities in relation to their importance
v  Spending the right time on the right activity

These great phenomena’s cuts across 2 categories of people;

          Those who will never be satisfied by the amount of time they have. But instead, they say things like;

ü   I have so much work but I don’t know where to start from: The key here is not to prioritize your schedule or To Do List.
ü  How I wish I have more time: Well they forget that there is never enough time and that the key to achieve a task in any given time is PROPER TIME MANAGEMENT which is dependent on how well we manage ourselves.

Those who understand that wasted time can’t be recycled: They understand that the difference between those who achieve their goal or target within the shortest time frame and those who feel they couldn't achieve same goal or target because they didn't have enough time is “THE ATTITUDE OF THE MIND” for that reason, they don’t get just busy but efficient with their time.
The truth is, it is easier to say there isn't enough time than to see what this excuse is covering up. Don’t forget that “TIME IS MONEY” So, spend your time WISELY.

                    THANK YOU

Why Every Customer Must ''RETURN''

Good day everyone, my name is Taiwo Adeogun, am a Sales Consultant, Training Facilitator and a Writer. Today, we shall be looking at the nucleus of a successful Business whether formal or informal. And this remarkable ingredient is called ''CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP'' or if you may, ''CUSTOMER SERVICE''.
In the study of business expansion, there is so much focus on expanding and enlarging market frontiers. For big businesses it's a necessity but our focus for this article is on Entrepreneurs. Every customer deserves a warm welcome most especially a smile. What is it about a smile? A smile goes a long way in making the environment convenient for the customer. The point here is that people naturally will feel relaxed in an environment that is welcoming and friendly. Not forgetting the fact that the customer holds the key to the success of a business. Hence, a good customer relationship propels this success.
Another powerful tool of Customer relation, is RESPECT. ‎When we treat our customers like every other person, we gradually close the door of achieving the major aim of the business which is PROFIT MAKING. Every customer has an option and always will. It is important to know as an Entrepreneur that we are never their last resort. A customer who is treated with respect will always find his way back and if they can't, they send you referrals. Every CUSTOMER, irrespective of who they are deserves a FRIENDLY, INNOVATIVE, POSITIVE, PRECISE AND TIMELY SUPPORT SERVICE.

The last part of every business transaction is another very important ingredient of customer relationship and that is a THANK YOU attitude. Every Entrepreneur should be appreciative to every customer, never be proud to say thank you to a customer that patronizes you. Age, size or value of their transaction is never a condition to say thank you. Whether the transaction was successful or not, let these two words (thank you) end your conversation. It is simply saying, 'I appreciate your time', 'I will love to see more of you', please come again'...
NOTE: you don't deserve a repeat purchase from a Customer you do not appreciate. Make your customer service experience worth it today and see your business progress.

THANK YOU ☺

How To Create That Perfect Touch for that Decor

Hello readers,

My name is Joy Okosun the events and décor writer for TTC. Today, we would be talking about how to get that perfect or if you like, wow factor for that décor. It could be for a corporate client, a socialite or even a kid’s party. The décor tells a lot your client and you!

Now, to get that achieve that perfect touch to your décor isn’t as difficult as it seems it just takes adding a little bit of what I call ‘’FLAVOUR’’ to the décor. It could be a mood light, the center piece, the couples chair, the dessert table, the chandelier in the room or even the simplicity of the decor.

Here are a few pictures I saw and would like to share with you but, I would appreciate your comments and the one that caught your fancy and why you chose that particular décor. Enjoy!!!
